Ron Keats has been providing professional insurance advice for over 30 years. Ron believes in taking the time necessary to educate each client so that they are able to make an educated decision on which products are best for them. He also spends an inordinate amount of time finding the most cost-effective insurance program for personal and commercial clients and prospects. Ron’s team of customer service and sales folks are trained and skilled to do the same. His foundation of integrity and commitment to education and excellence has afforded the Keats Insurance Agencies remarkable growth and success.

Ron began his career at a local insurance agency while in college. Under his leadership through marketing and staff development, the agency premium and revenues increased by 400%. In 1993 Ron stepped out on his own to start the Keats Agency in Floral Park NY. In his first full year he achieved the highest level of accomplishment with his primary insurance carrier. That success continued with Ron and his team reaching that level every year for 20 in a row securing his eligibility and induction into the Nationwide Insurance Hall of Fame. He was the first agent to achieve such a feat in the 100 year history of this Fortune 100 company.

As his agency grew, geography diversification become more and more important. Throughout the years Ron expanded into different regions of New York, then developed agencies on the southeastern United States including Georgia and Florida. Today the Keats Insurance Agencies does business throughout the east coast.

Ron is well renowned and respected in the industry and throughout the country. Insurance carriers often invite him to participate in think tanks, to speak at meetings, conferences, and events, and seek his participation their advisory councils. He knows the importance of being on aware of and influencing industry trends and changes. He does so as member of multiple insurance associations including The Big I and the PIA (Professional Insurance Agents Association). Growing an insurance agency is not all there is to know about Ron. He and his agency staff are very active in community, volunteer, and charity work. Ron is Past President and Board Member of the Floral Park Chamber of Commerce and Past President of Oakwood Princeton Park Civic Association. He is active with Lustgarten Foundation, Scleroderma Foundation, Real Men Wear Pink for American Cancer Society and does volunteer work at Island Harvest and Long Island Cares. His staff joins him in some of these efforts and they team up with other Keats Agency staff members to support individual causes.

John Keats leads the sales and service teams at Keats Insurance Agencies for over 19 years, bringing decades of leadership experience and industry expertise. A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, John entered the insurance industry in 1987, working with Allstate and State Farm. Before joining the Keats Insurance Agencies in 2005, he spent 15 years in various roles at KB Toys, ultimately serving as Director of Store Support for over 1,500 stores. His experience and drive continue to propel The Keats Agency toward success. John is also a certified trainer with Mohr Training Systems and is a Property & Casualty, Life & Health licensed Insurance professional.

Beyond his professional career, John is committed to actively supporting and raising funds for the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer research.

He resides in Sullivan County, NY—known as the Gateway to the Catskills—with his wife, Deanna. Married for going on 4 decades, they cherish their roles as grandparents, spoiling the 2 boys at every opportunity.

Chris joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2005. Licensed in Property & Casualty insurance, Chris plays a pivotal part in the day-to-day administration of the agency as Director of Operations. Chris came to the agency with a passion to learn and a drive to succeed. This is evident by is diverse knowledge base and his willingness to find solutions for a desired outcome. In his role, Chris wears many hats. Those include systems, technology, claims, licensing, bookkeeping and vendor relations. He is the agency ‘go-to’ for most everything. Chris does all of this with a smile because he loves what he does and takes great pride in how he impacts our agency.

Chris is a graduate of Suffolk County Community College and resides in Farmingville NY with his wife Carmen and their two boys Ethan & Hunter. Chris is a very family-oriented individual who feels it is an honor to work in the family business.

Ingrid joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 1998. Licensed in Property & Casualty insurance, Ingrid is an integral player at the Keats Agency and leads our Sales Team. This role has Ingrid guiding her team through education, training and product knowledge. Working directly with clients is also something that Ingrid prides herself in. She works well under pressure and is always ready to step in to get the job done for a client or a member of her sales team. Ingrid started out in the agency as a Customer Service Representative and has experienced the many changes and phenomenal growth of the agency. Our clients simply love and appreciate her for all she does.

Born in New Jersey and raised in Flushing NY, Ingrid now lives in Ronkonkoma NY with her 14-year-old son Derek Jr.

She is still a die-hard Mets fan, likes glamping, loves listening to horror podcasts and spending time with her family and friends.

Cassandra joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2008. Licensed in Property & Casualty, Life and Health insurance, Cassandra takes pride in running the Service Team for the agency. She started in the insurance industry in 1996 with Liberty Mutual in the claims department and transitioned into sales and service. Cassandra’s talent, and experience, lead to the current role of Agency Service Manager. Cassandra leads an amazing service team to ensure that quality and service exceed expectations. In this role, Cassandra has a hands-on approach to train, guide and motivate the Keats Agency Service Team. There are no shortcuts in this process as she is continuously trying to find ways to improve. Her passion for her team and role, is showcased on a daily basis.

Cassandra is committed to build trust and strong long-term relationships with our KA members. Casandra’s personal time is spent with family, watching her son coach basketball, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time as a family is the most important thing to her.

Eric joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2004 and has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, having started in 1989. He is licensed in Property & Casualty, as well as Life Insurance, and holds the prestigious LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) designation, which reflects his commitment to education and professionalism in the life insurance field. Eric earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Bernard M. Baruch College in New York, NY.

Outside of his professional career, Eric is deeply involved in his local community. He is married with three children and has dedicated much of his time to various organizations. Eric serves as the Assistant Scout Master of Troop 303 in Oceanside, is an active member of the Oceanside Scholarship Fund Committee, and participates in the Oceanside Kiwanis Club. He also serves as a Board member for Temple Avodah in Oceanside, NY. Additionally, for over 40 years, Eric has been a dedicated volunteer with the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization.

Catalino joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2020 as a Customer Service Rep. Catalino is fun, positive, optimistic and his passion for learning is what’s driving him to become more knowledgeable in the insurance industry and strives to one day be licensed. With many years of Customer Service experience, you can be certain that Catalino is ready and willing to make sure your needs are not only met but will go above and beyond to guarantee each and every one of our clients are satisfied. Catalino is fluent in Spanish and loves to travel, help others, spend time with family, and hopes to make a positive impact in the lives of all those he meets.

Ebi joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2017 as an Agency Receptionist. Intrigued by the insurance industry, Ebi decided to leap into the waters and obtained her Property & Casualty Insurance license. Ebi was promoted to a Licensed Customer Service Representative in 2019. She takes pride in helping to assure each of our member’s insurance needs are met and always does it with a smile. Ebi is an excellent team player and always ready for new challenges and opportunities. Ebi is multi-lingual and is fluent in Spanish, Albanian, Turkish, Italian. She is excited about her next chapter in the insurance industry, and we love watching her excel. Aside from always being on the lookout for her next adventure, she has a deep passion for the ocean and loves chasing waterfalls.

Tom became a part of the Keats Insurance Agency in 2020 when the Marino Goverage Group merged with the agency as an Associate Agent. Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life/Health, Tom has been in the insurance industry for 20+ years. Tom has a wealth of experience in helping customers find the right insurance for their needs. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing bass guitar.

Carmen joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2007. Licensed in Property & Casualty, Life and Health insurance, Carmen began her career as an Agency Receptionist and quickly found her passion for the insurance industry. Soon after she assended the ranks in the Customer Service arena and began training new team members as they joined our team. Continuing her education, Carmen earned the Commercial Insurance designation, CLCS, Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist, which broadens her spectrum in commercial insurance and provides more value to the many happy clients she comes in contact with.

Carmen’s passion for the business and attention to detail lead the agency to create a new role as an Account Manager. Working directly with 2 Sales Agents, she works tirelessly to bind new business and retain our current clientele. This effort enhances our Agents do to what they do best and bring new clients to the agency. Carmen is a gradulate of Floral Park Memorial High School and attended the University of Tampa. Carmen became and official part of the Keats family when she married Chris Keats in 2011 and share their home with two wonderful boys. A true-born native of Chile, Carmen speaks fluent Spanish. She enjoys cooking, eating, singing, and spending time with her family.

Justin joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2014. Licensed in Property & Casualty, Life and Health insurance, Justin takes pride in making insurance easy and affordable for Business Owners and Home Buyers. His keys to success are attributed to his relentless organization, life long learning and a genuine care for his clients. Continuing his education he has achieved designations such as Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS), a graduate from Dale Carnegie, and several other insurance designations.

Justin is a proud graduate from The Ohio State University in 2012, and worked for various insurance carriers during college. In 2012 he was chosen for a Management Development Program at GEICO Insurance. This had Justin working in claims and allowed a unique perspective of the industry and how claims are handled. This helps him exemplify what is important in the event of a loss.

Tracy joined the Keats Insurance Agencies family in 2022. She brings with her 20 years of experience in the industry.

Alissa Joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2017. Licensed in Property & Casualty insurance Alissa holds the position of Customer Service Team Lead. She graduated from Queens College with a degree in Early Childhood Education and spent some time as a New York City DOE Teacher before jumping into the insurance field in 2017. Teaching has taught her patience, compassion, and how to work with a variety of different personalities which has helped her greatly in the insurance industry. Alissa wears many hats at the Keats Agency as the Customer Service Team Lead. From training the service team to helping clients fully understand their policies, she is always available to help both clients and staff with anything they may need. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new foods, and learning new things.

Yanci joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2018 as a Customer Service Representative. She has been in the insurance service industry since 2014 and is one of our premier bilingual representatives who service our Spanish clients. Yanci believes in teamwork and prides herself in offering exceptional service to all our members. Yanci possesses such a positive energy and compliments that with a contagious smile.

Yanci enjoys the outdoors, she has a passion for helping others, and always looking for ways to hone in on her skills. Yanci believes a positive attitude is the key to success, and it shows daily.

Karen joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2008. Licensed in Property & Casualty, Life and Health insurance and has earned the Commercial Insurance designation, CLCS, Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist, which broadens her spectrum in commercial insurance. Karen opened and developed the Keats insurance Agency on Grand Avenue in Baldwin, NY. This location is powered by professionals who live, play and serve in the Baldwin community. Karen heads the Baldwin team with the motto of “Do what is right… Always” for our clients and the community.

For the past eleven years, Karen and team has been passionate about matching clients with the right protection for their individual needs and budgets. As an Agent stands with her clients and is there for them with advice and in the unlikely event of a claim. For this reason past clients have returned and stated that they will never leave again. Which is all that she could ask for. Karen and team are also known for their extensive community work. Karen holds an MBA in Business Administration from Monroe College, and is a licensed Real Estate agent.

In her spare time, Karen is an avid tennis player, and can be seen competing in various leagues at our local parks in the summer. Her son, Johnaton, has grown into a very handsome young man, and also has the entrepreneurial spirit, and has a lot to look forward to!

Carmen joined the Keats Insurance Agency – Baldwin office in 2013. Licensed in Property & Casualty Carmen has 15+ years in the insurance industry. Carmen found a passion for selling insurance right out of the gate. Her clients have the utmost confidence and respect in her ability to always put their needs first. She has a long standing rapport with each individual client as she provides excellent customer service. She realizes that in order to meet the needs of the many clients, she has to place the clients with the company that is best suitable for the clients needs, giving the best coverage available.

Kayla joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2006. Licensed in Property & Casualty, Kayla began her career in insurance at the Keats Insurance Agency in her hometown of Florida, NY. Kayla caught on quickly and found a passion for the insurance industry. Motivated by this passion Kayla took herself to the next level by obtaining a Property & Casualty license. This gave her the ability to service and advise our clients on a higher level as a Licensed Customer Service Representative. Her expertise on protections with the many companies that we have available to us and fueled by the appreciatiation of our clients, Kayla was promoted into the current role of Account Manager. In 2020, Kayla enhanced her knowledge of Commercial insurance by obtaining the designation of CLCS, Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist designation.

Tim joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2020. Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life Insurance, Tim has grown a passion for the insurance industry. Growing up in a family run automotive dealership in Sullivan County, Tim began selling cars at the age of 15. After graduating from the University of Michigan began his insurance career. Tim is committed to providing top-tier service to his clients and ensuring that all of his personal lines and commercial lines clients are properly covered for their unique situation.

Outside of the office, you can find Tim spending time in the outdoors fishing, hiking, snowboarding, or riding his Harley, depending on the season.

Christina joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2019. Licensed in Property & Casualty, Life and Health insurance, Christina began her career in 2000 as an entry-level Customer Service Representative. Christina realized educating clients about their policies and coverages while also trying to save them money, was her true passion and she grew into her current role as a Sales Agent. She has also earned the Commercial Insurance designation, CLCS, Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist, which broadens her spectrum in commercial insurance.

Outside of the office, Christina can be found volunteering as a Director for the local Little League board. She is very active with her children’s little league, assisting coaches on the softball field, and helping to organize fundraisers. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 children, and several animals.Christina will always do what’s best for you, is just a phone call or email away from helping you with all your insurance needs.

Brad joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2014. Licensed in Property & Casualty, Life and Health insurance Brad has been in the insurance industry for 15+ years. Brad focuses on providing needs based comprehensive coverage solutions for his commercial clients tailored to their industry and centered in loss prevention. Brad utilizes the same approach with his personal lines clients by completing a thorough analysis of their coverage needs and finding competitive protection through the multitude of quality insurance carriers available through the Keats Insurance Agency.

Brad attended the University of Cincinnati and decided to start his career in sales. He received his Property & Casualty License in 2004 and his Life and Health License in 2006. Brad obtained his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation in 2018.

Brad has received numerous sales awards over his tenure with the Keats Insurance Agency and was awarded the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce Young Emerging Leader Pride Award in 2014. He served as the Chairman of the Board for the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce from 2015 to 2018 and is actively involved in the Monticello Rotary.

Brad, his wife Jackie and children, Annabelle and Matthew live in the Western end of Sullivan County, NY. He is also a musician and when he is not being a Dad or Insurance Agent, you can find Brad singing and playing guitar in his band, Far Beyond Gone.

Eileen joined the Keats Insurance Agency in 2020. Licensed Property & Casualty insurance since 1997, Eileen has achieved an Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) in 2002. Eileen has underwritten for a large commercial lines program administrator prior to becoming a retail insurance broker. She excels in assisting her commercial and personal lines clients find the best coverage to protect their business and personal assets. Eileen enjoys time with her family snowmobiling, hiking, motorcycling and any outdoor activities.
